Like any job quote by a professional, cost depends on the scope of work:

Is this a first draft?  How many pages is it?

What is the topic?  Is more research needed?

How close are you to being finished?

What is your deadline?  What is your budget?

How was your experience when you edited your last book?**  Or worked with your last editor?

**Could that time be better utilized by you for other tasks?

What are you looking for in an editor -- straight edits to what you've written?

      OR input/suggestions on content?

My goal is to keep the cost reasonable so that --

      a) clients return, and

      b) clients refer

"You are much more than an editor.  You hold the Light in ways I'm not sure you are even aware.

You are a champion of the written word & all it evokes.  It is weighted because it holds a great deal of responsibility.  It holds the truth, hope, and promise, which our hearts would shatter without.  Poets are revered.  Songwriters.  Authors.  Wordsmiths of all ilk.  Where would they be without editors to remind them of succinct soul truths?  You are a God-send...and so incredibly gifted. AND what a brain/heart to be able to write AND edit like you do.
